A painted cut string staircase, without brackets. The basement to ground floor and ground to first floor flights, show painted white strings with oak treads, and painted MDF risers, offer a modern twist to a traditional stair. The first to second floor follows the same cut string design with pine treads and risers, carpeted for a softer feel. This striking staircase consists of 90mm plain Hexham volute newel posts, which support our oak 80 x 51mm handrail with handrail components, allowing the handrail to flow. To complete the look, our customer chose painted Auckland 41mm spindles throughout, creating an overall sophisticated appearance.
