As you follow the oak handrails up the stairs you will see the use of 115mm NT416 Rothbury newel posts where the main flight meets the gull wing at the quarter landing. All other landing posts are 90mm Rothbury with Langley caps. Incorporating large main newel post in this wide hallway lead to the use of 50mm Rothbury spindles.
