The flowery grain pattern can easily be seen in the Ash Lumley 115mm Main newel posts with 115mm Hamsterley caps. The right hand newel posts has had a quadrant removed to wrap the post around the wall, making a feature at the opening of this continuous closed string staircase. The elaborate detail of the Lumley design is emphasised with the use of 45mm Lumley spindles.
