Richard Burbidge Delivery & Terms


In order to offer a wider range of products, we now operate on a drop ship basis with our partner brand Richard Burbidge. This means that orders will be processed by Stairparts Direct but delivered directly from Richard Burbidge’s warehouse. Due to the drop ship basis, we do not stock Richard Burbidge items, therefore collections are not possible.

We also do not offer Free Delivery on any Richard Burbidge dropship orders but you can select another suitable delivery option when checking out on our website.

Orders received before 11am (weekdays only) will be dispatched in 48 hours on an overnight carrier. However, please be aware that during busy times and with Covid restriction, delays may occur.

We try to keep our stock feeds as up to date as possible, however, during busy periods there may be out of stock items. We will contact you to advise of any out of stock products and will hold the full job to dispatch all items together, unless requested otherwise.

If an item is damaged, please send images via e-mail to customerservice@stairpartsdirect.co.uk with as much information as possible, i.e., product name, quantity affected, description of defect etc. Any damaged items will be replaced. Please notify any damages as soon as possible but within 48 hours of receipt of order.

Richard Burbidge Returns

If you are not happy with the products purchased or have changed your mind, please notify us by email at customerservice@stairpartsdirect.co.uk and we will organise an uplift.

Richard Burbidge will arrange collection of all returns; the cost of returns will be deducted from your refund. This is a third party return and will be charged at 25% of the value of the product or £35.00 whichever is the greatest. Unfortunately, due to tracking issues Richard Burbidge do not accept own parcel returns.

Any unwanted items must be returned within 28days, in a saleable state and returned unopened in the original packaging. Split packs cannot be returned for refund.

You will be contacted by the carrier to arrange a collection day. Please note, during busy periods carrier collection times may be delayed. Please bear with them, your return will be processed as soon as they are able.

A refund will be provided by Stairparts Direct once we have been notified the items have been received, checked, and processed by Richard Burbidge. Please allow approximately 10 working days.
