Description
The oak is engineered European oak. This means the post has a jointed oak core with a 3mm or 8mm solid oak wrap, mitred on each corner. We would not recommend this post be chamfered or adapted in any way as it may disturb the lamination.

The Warkworth plain square range offers a simple feel with clean lines suitable for both modern and traditional interiors.
The Warkworth newel post is available in 90mm, as well as 115mm and 140mm in other lengths, making an impressive statement in larger hallways or open plan settings. Flat caps suit this range perfectly with a rebate on the underside to sit down over the top of the post. Also available in lengths of 1500mm and 2400mm, with a half Warkworth newel at 1500mm long and 3 pegged versions, the NT210 PEG, the NT416 PEG and the NT205 PEG.
This timeless yet contemporary design offers many variations to suit your individual style; Warkworth plain square newel posts can be teamed with matching Warkworth spindles, Alnwick square twist spindles or glass balustrading for a light airy feel. A popular choice with our range of metal spindles.
The Warkworth spindle is available in 32mm, 41mm, 45mm, 50mm, 55mm. For an alternative look with a squared newel post, we have the Washington, Belsay, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Embleton newel posts.
