Single Curtail Step

The curtail step is curved the full width of the tread and used to create a feature at the bottom of the stairs. It can be used to accommodate the handrail scroll (volute) or compound bend with offset main newel post.

Available in two configurations:

• Right Hand Curtail (RH) – the curved corner sits on your right as you look up the stairs
• Left Hand Curtail (LH) – the curved corner sits on your left as you look up the stairs

Available in two timber options:

• Oak Bullnose Step – solid oak tread paired with an oak-faced riser. Ideal for natural, stained or oiled finishes.
• Pine Bullnose Step – solid pine tread paired with a pine-faced riser. Ideal for painted finishes.
• MDF Bullnose Step – MDF tread paired with a birch riser. Ideal for carpeted finishes.
