J B Kind Delivery Service
J B Kind have dedicated a number of delivery vehicles to distribute home delivery orders. This is supported by a text (SMS) service providing notification of scheduled delivery dates and times.
- On placing your order, you will receive a confirmation of order from ourselves.
- All delivery messaging will them be handled by J B Kind.
- You will be given approximately two days’ notice of your delivery day, with the option to reschedule, if necessary.
- On the day prior to delivery you will receive a three hour delivery slot. Delivery cannot be rescheduled at this stage.
- On the day of delivery, you will be advised your driver is one hour away and again when the vehicle leaves the previous drop.
- J B Kind will keep you informed every step of the way.

Delivery Charges
J B Kind delivery charges are as follows:
- Standard Delivery (3 – 5 working days) £35 + VAT
- Express Delivery (1 – 2 working days) £50 + VAT
- Highland postcodes PO30 – PO41, KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, PA, KY, FK8, FK15 – FK21 (3 – 5 working days) £140 + VAT
- Island postcodes IM & BT (3 – 5 working days) – POA
All deliveries are scheduled in normal working days (Monday to Friday), excluding Bank Holidays.

J B Kind Delivery Returns Procedure
Please thoroughly check all doors for damage, defect or error within 5 days, the claim will be reviewed outside of this timeframe.
Unwanted doors / doors ordered in error will be returned at the customers cost and should be returned directly to J B Kind within one calendar month. All items must be fully packaged and in resaleable condition or charges may apply.

DELIVERY Any times quoted for delivery are estimates only. The seller will use its best endeavours to comply with delivery dates without incurring any liability for failure to achieve such dates. The seller shall not be liable for any shortage in quantity delivered nor for any defect in the quality, nature or condition of the goods nor for non compliance with any specification unless the purchaser: (i) Endorses the delivery documents with details of the claim, (ii) Retains for inspection all packaging materials relative to the claim, (iii) Notifies the seller in writing of any claim for loss or damage within 48 hours of the delivery. Unless otherwise agreed in writing the buyer shall be bound to accept goods ordered by him on notification that they are ready for delivery. Delivery will be charged again if the buyer is not there to accept and sign safe receipt.
LIMITATION OF SELLER’S LIABILITY Except for death or personal injury caused by the seller’s negligence the seller shall not be liable to the buyer for any consequential costs or losses arising in excess of the invoice value of the goods which are the subject of a claim. Any claim based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with specification shall be notified in writing to the seller within seven days from the date of delivery or (where the defect or failure was not apparent on reasonable inspection) within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect or failure. If the buyer fails to notify the seller of any claim in accordance with the provision of this condition the buyer shall not be entitled to reject the goods and the seller shall have no liability for such defect or failure, and the buyer shall be bound to pay the price as if the goods had been delivered in accordance with the contract. In addition the seller will not accept any liability in respect of goods supplied which subsequently prove to be defective where such goods have been altered or used in a way contrary to: (i) accepted codes of practice, (ii) instructions supplied with the goods, (iii) instructions in the seller’s brochure.
DESCRIPTION OF GOODS All descriptions and illustrations contained in any catalogues or other correspondence of the seller are to give a general idea of the goods described therein and none of them shall form part of any contact. The seller reserves the right to alter specifications without notice.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION The buyer must determine and agree the specification design and construction of the product and accept full responsibility that it is adequate for the purpose intended. Where the contract specifies certain sizes and qualities these shall be subject to normal commercial variation except where changed by agreement with the seller in writing. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure the contract specification is suitable for his use requirements. Any alteration by the buyer in design dimensions, weights, quantities, specifications or other items and any suspension of work due to the buyer’s instructions or lack of instructions will entitle the seller to change the originally agreed price and carriage charges.
